The Women's Business Center of Kentucky (WBC) stands as a beacon of empowerment and support for women entrepreneurs across the Commonwealth. Founded on the principles of fostering equitable entrepreneurship, innovation and economic growth, the WBC serves as a catalyst for women-owned businesses to thrive and succeed.
At the heart of the WBC's mission is a commitment to providing women entrepreneurs, as well as other socially disadvantaged communities, with the resources, tools and guidance they need to navigate the complexities of business ownership. Through a diverse range of programs, workshops and networking opportunities, the WBC equips entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge to launch, grow and sustain their ventures successfully.
Aside from offering extensive business training sessions and personalized no-cost one-on-one coaching programs, the WBC organizes three signature events that unite female entrepreneurs from all corners of Kentucky. At the inspiring Strong Women Strong Coffee meetings, women can engage in discussions over coffee and exchange ideas while hearing from subject-matter experts. Additionally, the thought-provoking Empowering Excellence Panel discussions feature prominent women business leaders sharing their insights and experiences. The Women in Business Expo, another flagship event, showcases the diverse array of women-owned businesses in the region and offers workshops, networking sessions and resources to support their growth and success. These events provide invaluable opportunities for learning, networking and all-around growth.
Through its programming and events, the Women's Business Center of Kentucky continues to embolden women to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams, build thriving businesses and make a positive impact on their communities and beyond. With a shared vision of empowerment and success, the WBC remains committed to supporting women entrepreneurs and championing their contributions to the economic landscape.
The WBC of Kentucky has been assisting small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs across all 120 counties in Kentucky since 2011. Since its inception, the WBC has been co-sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration and administered by Community Ventures.
