Recently, the Metal Works team completed a fabrication project at the Kentucky Lock and Dam, working onsite to repair historical u-shaped grating that is located on top of the East Lock Wall. This project was completed with over 1,000 hours of manpower and zero safety incidents, and it passed rigorous QA/QC inspections by the U.S. Corps of Engineers. The goal of maintaining the historic value at the Dam was achieved, and the Corps of Engineers now has a safe walking and working area to utilize for years to come.
