GEO Consultants Corporation (GEO), founded in 1997 and headquartered in Kevil, Kentucky, is a full service civil, environmental, and geological engineering firm whose clients include federal government agencies, local municipalities, commercial enterprises, and large businesses. GEO became a KYPTAC client in November 2021.
The technical solutions that GEO designs and delivers to clients are based on nationally recognized professional expertise in the fields of A-E design, environmental compliance, groundwater characterization, CERCLA site investigations, site characterization and remediation, relief well maintenance and rehabilitation, and hydrogeology.
GEO, a certified HUBZone and Woman-Owned Small Business firm, has a successful, 25-year track record of federal contracting experience. GEO’s quality, technical excellence, and disciplined approach to engineering, environmental and planning services has led to outstanding past performance ratings for the successful execution of hundreds of individual projects for federal clients.
GEO has existing prime contracts with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Louisville, Kansas City, Huntington, Tulsa, Galveston, and Seattle Districts, supporting environmental, civil, and geotechnical services at numerous locations. GEO, as prime contractor, has executed projects for multiple USACE Districts in 27 states and multiple countries and territories. GEO has provided uninterrupted environmental services for various prime contractors for the Department of Energy since 1999 on the largest environmental monitoring program in the state of Kentucky.
GEO collaborates with municipalities in Kentucky performing civil and environmental engineering services. Our engineers have tackled large civil works projects, including designs of levees and pump stations, commercial and residential land developments, federal and municipal sewage treatment plants and lagoons, municipal utility distribution systems, solid and hazardous waste landfills, and roadway improvements. Additionally, GEO assists municipal partners with environmental permitting and site assessments, stormwater site plans and certificates.
